How to wash Stretch Fabrics
Are you having a problem with your stretch fabrics shrinking and making holes?
Instructions on how to wash Stretch Fabrics
Step 1: Identify the soiled spot on the stretch table cloth / Stretch Chair Cover.
Step 2: Pre-treat the stains using a mild detergent such as OMO, Surf or Sunlight washing powder and dampen the soiled spot. Do not use bleach, ammonia or any other harsh chemicals.
Step 3: It is preferable to wash the stretch fabrics by hand. However in the events and corporate industry the quantity of linen used requires machine wash. For a machine wash, do not put the stretch fabrics on a long cycle and only wash in COLD water.
Step 4: Stretch fabrics dry very quickly and there is minimal creases on the fabric. The best way to dry the stretch fabric is by the sunlight. If this option is not possible a cool cycle in the tumble dryer can work.
Please Note: Stretch fabrics does not want high heat. The high heat causes the Fabric to shrink and creates holes. If ironing is required use the iron on a cool setting. The fabric catches the heat very quickly. I would advise putting a cotton cloth above the stretch fabric when ironing to avoid burning the fabric.

Comment
Stretch Fabric requires very little maintenance and they can last long if they are taken well care of by applying the steps above. It is also important for the staff members to fit and remove the stretch tablecloth / chair covers with care to avoid tearing the fabric from its sewing seams.
