Easy Tricks in Repairing Damaged Tables

Are your steel table corners cutting your tablecloths?

Are your wooden tables becoming rough?

Tables and Chairs are just too expensive to discard. Where would you store them? Or who would you give them to?

Unfortunately, over a period of time due to extended usage tables start showing signs of wear and tear and can damage your table cloths.

Here are some easy tricks

For Sharp End Corners, Apply Velcro. Use the sticky side on the table and use both the male and female parts on the top. Alternatively, you can use double sided tape on the corners. The maintenance team can also file down sharp edges of steel tables hooking table cloths. Replace the rubber covering on the bottom of the table legs and conference chairs. This will also ensure that the sharp edges do not tear through the table cloth and chair cover pockets or scrape the carpet and tiles.

Wooden Tables can be sanded down slightly and painted with wood varnish. Use place-mats for wooden tables.

Under Covers / Table Moulton

We also recommend that you purchase non slip under covers. Under covers serve more than one purpose. They protect the table and the table cloth and they give a finished look to the final table setting. Table protectors can be left on the tables once the tables have been stripped off the main table cloth. Old table cloths that are still usable can be used as under covers as well.
